Workshop on p-adic geometry
November 18-22, 2024
Organized by Wee Teck Gan and David Hansen, with the generous support of the Institute for Mathematical Sciences.
This is an instructional workshop on p-adic geometry (broadly interpreted). We will have four minicourses by leading experts, presenting some of the latest developments in this exciting and fast-moving field.

Pierre Colmez (Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu): "Emerton's factorization of completed cohomology"
Shizhang Li (Morningside Center of Mathematics): "p-adic trace and (generalized) Poincare duality"
Lucas Mann (University of Münster): "6-functor formalisms and categorical Langlands"
Wiesława Nizioł (Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu): "Duality theorems in p-adic analytic geometry"
Each main lecturer will give a minicourse of four lectures.
Additional lectures by David Helm (Imperial), Teruhisa Koshikawa (RIMS Kyoto), and Ziquan Yang (CUHK).

On Nov. 18-21, all lectures will be held in Lecture Theater 34, which is on the 3rd floor of building S17. On Nov. 22, the final lectures will be in Lecture Theater 32, which is on the 2nd floor of building S1A (five minutes walk from S17).
Between talks, participants can make use of the math department lounge on the 4th floor. We have also reserved the 4th floor classroom 04-06 as a free discussion space during the following times: Monday 9-5, Tuesday 9-4, Thursday 9-4, Friday 11-3.
Registration
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED as of August 15, 2024. Due to the overwhelming interest in this conference, we are unable to accept any more registrations.
All registered participants will receive information about the conference via email.
Food and Travel Information
All participants will need to arrange their own travel, and senior participants will need to arrange their own lodging. Please indicate in the registration whether you need an official invitation letter in order to apply for a visa.
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided during breaks between talks. There are many delicious and cheap lunch options at the NUS Science Canteen, which is just across the street from the conference venue. Note that many of the stalls there do not accept credit cards, so it is advisable to bring some cash.
